Chef tips
To ensure the cod turns out golden and juicy, pat the fish dry with a paper towel before searing. Place it in a hot pan and, once cooked, gently lay it over the rich bean broth. For a Kosher version, use high-quality beef chorizo. Kids can help by lightly mashing some of the beans with a fork to thicken the soup and create a creamy, indulgent texture without the need for cream.
