Chef tips
For a perfectly smooth and velvety filling, pass the pumpkin puree through a fine-mesh sieve before adding the rest of the ingredients to remove any lumps and ensure a perfect texture. For a great dairy-free version, swap the cream for thick coconut milk. Kids can help cut out shapes like leaves or stars from leftover dough to decorate the pie's edges before baking.
