1Prepare the chicken drumsticks by cutting into drumsticks and wings. Dry with a kitchen towel and transfer to a bowl.
2Add salt, chicken broth powder and 2 tablespoons of soy seasoning to the chicken thighs. mix well.
3Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it soak in a cold place for at least 30 minutes, or up to 24 hours in the refrigerator to improve the taste.
4In a small bowl, mix the remaining soy seasoning with vegetable oil.
5Heat the grill or oven to 180°C. Prepare a baking tray with aluminum foil and place a baking rack on top.
6Arrange the chicken thighs on the rack, making sure there is enough space for even cooking and air circulation.
7Marinate the shanks and bake or grill for 15 minutes.
8Remove from the oven, turn the shanks over, apply more marinade and return to the oven for another 15 minutes.
9Repeat the flipping and spreading process once more, grill for another 15 minutes.
10After cooking, transfer the shanks to a bowl, sprinkle more soy seasoning and serve with sliced onions, tomatoes and a salad of your choice.
